A brief history: Wonka Sound really began around 1989 with the purchase of a 4-track cassette recorder.  Four tracks! At the time it seemed amazing. I could actually record my music onto cassette tapes, add tracks. and re-record and fix mistakes! Life was good, and the possibilities seemed endless until... I upgraded to an 8-track recorder. The Beatles never even had more than that! That poor machine got a ton of use and it was around this time that I really began to take my hobby seriously. After completing High School, I decided to officially pursue a career in music, and four years later graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Music Production and Engineering. Upon entering the workforce, I initially interned at a number of Boston based facilities, but eventually got frustrated with the lack of "hands on" experience. Although these experiences proved invaluable, I really felt the need to start my own commercial studio, which over the course of a few major overhauls has become Wonka Sound as it exists today. I love what I do, and I take a lot of pride in my work. If you are a musician, songwriter, or artist of any genre who is considering recording and who likes the idea of working in a productive, yet super-relaxing environment, please get in touch to see what I can do for you.

Thanks,

Bob Nash
